The Emirati rights and the Iranian delusions
By Dr. Abdel Aziz Tarekji
The mullahs’ regime refuses to submit to the right and return the three islands to the Emirates, which relies on diplomatic and legal methods to obtain its usurped right by Tehran, which is creative in attacking those islands and Emirati sovereignty.
Iran’s latest arrogance is not its announcement of granting Iranian youth lands on those islands for Iranian youth to settle, but the truth represented by the Emirati right is something that cannot be hidden no matter how Iran tries to hide it with justifications or arguments.
In this regard, Tehran was not satisfied with that, and as a result of the weakness of its arguments, it resorted to incitement and media misinformation, unleashing its direct media by launching an inflammatory media campaign against the Emirates, against the backdrop of the Yemeni file, which the Emirates has worked since its beginning to encourage dialogue and peace and to spare Yemen from the scourge of war and free death. At a time when Iran supported and armed the militias, led by the Houthi militia, to spread the culture of death and hostility in the face of the culture of dialogue and harmony among the components of the Yemeni people.
Indeed, the case of the mullahs’ regime, which ordered its media and mercenaries to target the UAE by marketing allegations devoid of any real basis that Abu Dhabi is obstructing the peace process and positive talks in Yemen, knowing that the UAE, through actions, not words and empty promises, supported the people of Yemen and contributed to rebuilding its infrastructure. So, It is reasonable for whoever did this to want the war to continue.
Note that what is between the Emirates and Saudi Arabia is much greater than some empty mouths promoting an alleged dispute between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi. The depth of bilateral relations is the best evidence of that. The Emirates and Saudi Arabia are two sovereign countries and it is natural for there to be a difference in viewpoints, as each country has its vision, but they are on the issues. The two strategies are complementary to the point of matching, so do not tire yourself and raise your pens. You will not be able to divide the Emirati-Saudi ranks even if you spend your money on your mercenaries, whether in the media or on social media. We all know how fake accounts are managed to fan the fire of a dispute between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi that does not exist except In the minds of those who move those black rooms.
The UAE provided a role model in defending its historical right to the three occupied islands and raised its voice with rights and documents in all international forums. The Emirati solution is by law and by the power of diplomacy.
I conclude with what Mark Twain said: “Those who are for freedom and against incitement are the people who want rain, not thunder.” This is the case of the Emiratis who want freedom and truth.
