Ambassador Danny Danon Inaugurates Exhibition at the UN in Memory of the October 7th Massacre

Ambassador Danny Danon inaugurated an exhibition at the UN in memory of the October 7th massacre together with the US Ambassador to the UN: “On October 7th, so many families were torn apart, entire lives were cut short. We will continue to show the world the evil that forced Israel into a just war for its security and existence”

Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, inaugurated the commemoration events for the October 7th massacre at the United Nations together with the US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield at the launch of the exhibition “Eternal Embrace“ at the United Nations in collaboration with the Zionist Council, which tells the story of 25 women and men who were murdered on October 7th through the eyes of their mothers.

The opening event was attended by the creator of the exhibition, the artist and photographer Ifat Peer and Sigal Mansouri, whose two daughters, Norel and Roya, were murdered at the Nova Festival.

Ambassador Danny Danon said: “On October 7th, so many families were torn apart, entire lives were cut short. Hamas terrorists murdered in cold blood girls, children, women and men who were dancing at a music festival, and families who were in their homes. We will continue to show the world the evil that forced Israel into this just war for its security and existence. I thank the Zionist Council for helping bring the exhibition to the United Nations. The exhibition will be on display for a week where everyone who comes to the UN will be able to look into the eyes of the mothers whose children were killed during this terrible massacre.”
