UN Ambassadors’ Delegation Arrives in Israel: From Memory in Poland – to Reality in Israel.

A delegation of ambassadors from over 30 countries, led by Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon, arrived in Israel this morning, following their participation in the March of the Living in Auschwitz, Poland.

The purpose of the visit is to connect the memory of the Holocaust with Israel’s current reality amid unprecedented security threats.

The visit began with a tour of Jerusalem, including the City of David, the Western Wall, and the Christian Quarter. Later this week, the ambassadors will tour southern communities affected by the October 7th terror attacks, meet with President Herzog, Prime Minister Netanyahu, and Foreign Minister Sa’ar, and receive security briefings. The visit will conclude with participation in the Memorial Day ceremony for fallen IDF soldiers in Jerusalem.
