RARE EARTH RIVALRY: HOW ZELENSKYY’S MISSED OPPORTUNITY COULD HAND PUTIN A STRATEGIC WIN.

By Rick Clay

Zelenskyy missed an opportunity to solidify Rare Earth Mineral development, and agreement with the United States has opened the door for Putin. And he’s ready to walk in. The Russian economy is in tatters even though GDP numbers are good, but those are based on a war economy, which is a debt economy. He points out quite correctly that Russia has far more rare earth minerals the Ukraine does, and he just put out a statement that he wants to develop those resources with the United States. He was very concerned about the mineral deal with Ukraine and the United States. It would have solidified a working framework and relationship forward between Ukraine and the United States, which would provide economic security guarantees. 20% of ukrainians reserves are now in Russian controled Ukrainian territory. I pointed that out 2 years ago, and it was dismissed only to be proven Central to a forming peace deal. Putin is very worried that a peace deal will now be taken off the table, and he’s going to have to slug this out, which he can not afford to do much longer. Russia still has bodies to throw in the meat grinder more than Ukraine does but he was already dealing with a demographic catastrophe Before the War started now it’s only accelerated depriving Russia of the one resource it needs the most Manpower. The graphics below will show Ukraine’s deposits, United States dependency, and Putin sees an opportunity to step in where Zelenskyy lost. Unlike Russia, Ukraine and Zelenskyy can not offer up those mineral rights. And Putin is more than willing to develop those Resources with the United States.
