The Muslim Brotherhood charter has been one that has been anti-Israel, and certainly anti-Semitic at large. Unlike other groups the Brotherhood has created a bureaucracy intended to influence thinking from the societal to the government level and everywhere in between. By doing so they have been able to influence mosques, religious and secular schools, media as most importantly governments and their agencies.
Their vast bureaucratic influence was evident by placement throughout the Bush and Obama administrations, and before and after, where members of the Brotherhood were strategically place into senior positions within the various agencies, in particular, the Defense and State Departments. This included senior aides to SoS Hillary Clinton, and senior DoD officials.
Other placements the Brotherhood has significant influence delegitimize the United States and Israel have they been on the college campus. By creating relationships within the professorship and university leadership they influence young people as they’re begin to formulate their outlook at global affairs.
While you have wars that are obvious, for example the physical destruction of Ukraine by Russian missiles and military, the Muslim Brotherhood seeks to destroy the West bureaucratically. This is on display when organizations like CAIR which not too long-ago hosted Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who has repeatedly made anti-Semitic references, it’s all about the Benjamins or referring to the 911 attacks as some people did something. The idea is to trivialize the impact of radical Islamic, but also to at the same time delegitimize the US ally, Israel, and the role of the Jewish community within the United States as well as across the globe.
In conclusion, there must be a greater interest by policy makers in congress and the administration to understand the threat within the organizations and their true intentions. A group’s intention to delegitimize a certain group of people a segment of the citizenry within the United States, is highly problematic and must be addressed strategically and immediately. If in fact, it is, as we look globally to control or destroy governments from within, then we truly consider classifying the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
